Commercial Paralegal - Fully Remote
A global biotechnology business at the forefront of advancing science in cancer and infectious disease is looking to appoint a Commercial Paralegal on a long-term contract basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly innovative organisation in a fully remote role, supporting a busy commercial legal function with a core focus on CDAs / confidentiality agreements.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a high-volume CDA workflow, acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and agreement owners. The business already has structured processes, templates and playbooks in place, so this role would suit someone who is confident working independently within an established framework, while also able to exercise sound judgement when negotiations require a more commercial approach.
The role will involve:
* Reviewing, drafting and negotiating Confidential Disclosure Agreements / CDAs / NDAs
* Managing your own allocation of agreements from start to finish
* Acting as a consistent point of contact for internal stakeholders
* Working within established templates, processes and negotiation playbooks
* Making sensible commercial calls within agreed parameters
* Supporting on additional commercial legal matters as the contract progresses, where needed
The ideal candidate will have:
* Prior experience reviewing and negotiating CDAs, NDAs or confidentiality agreements
* A paralegal background within an in-house legal team, law firm or alternative legal services environment
* Strong commercial awareness and confidence handling stakeholder queries
* The ability to manage a busy workflow independently and accurately
* Excellent attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach
* Availability for a mid-April start
