Senior Lateral Recruiting Coordinator

UK&I - London
Contract
£51k to £100k

We are working with a leading US law firm that is looking to appoint a Senior Lateral Recruiting Coordinator to join its London team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The firm has an established international presence and works with some of the world's most prominent businesses, financial institutions and investment managers. With a busy lateral recruitment function supporting multiple practice groups, this is an opportunity to become part of a team that plays an important role in attracting and securing legal talent across its international offices.

Working closely with the Manager of Legal Recruiting, you will be involved in the day-to-day delivery of lateral associate recruitment, supporting hiring activity across London and other international offices. The position offers plenty of variety, from coordinating interviews and managing candidate submissions through to working with recruitment agencies, preparing recruitment reports and helping the team understand hiring activity and wider market trends.

There is a significant relationship-management element to the role. You'll be liaising regularly with partners, lawyers, recruitment agencies and colleagues across HR, ensuring that recruitment processes are well organised, information is accurately maintained and candidates receive a positive experience throughout.

Alongside this, you'll support the administration of recruitment agreements, placement fees and invoices, maintain recruitment systems and trackers, and assist with broader recruitment projects as required. There may also be opportunities to support the graduate recruitment team.

We're interested in speaking with individuals who have gained around three to five years' experience in recruitment within a law firm or wider professional services environment. Previous exposure to lateral or experienced-hire recruitment would be particularly useful, although we're equally interested in individuals who have developed strong recruitment coordination skills and are looking to take on greater responsibility.

You'll need to be comfortable working in a busy environment, managing competing priorities and building relationships with stakeholders at different levels. Strong attention to detail, confidence with recruitment systems and Excel, and a genuinely organised approach will be important. French language skills would be an advantage, but are by no means essential.

This could be a particularly good opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Coordinator who enjoys the operational and relationship-driven side of recruitment and would welcome the chance to work within an international US law firm environment.
