Legal Project Management Analyst - International Law Firm

UK&I - London
Permanent
Up to £50k

We're working with a leading international law firm that is looking to recruit a Legal Project Management Analyst to join its growing London team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, analytical and commercially minded individual who wants to build a career within the business side of the legal industry, working closely with lawyers, finance teams and senior stakeholders to support the delivery of complex legal matters.

And the exciting part? You don't necessarily need previous law firm experience.

Our client is genuinely open to recent graduates and individuals at the beginning of their careers who can demonstrate strong analytical skills, curiosity, initiative and an interest in understanding how international businesses operate.

Legal Project Management is an increasingly important part of the modern legal industry. Behind every major transaction, dispute or complex client matter sits a team ensuring that work is properly planned, budgets are monitored, resources are managed effectively and clients receive clear, commercially focused reporting.

You'll become part of that process, supporting the firm's Legal Project Management team with everything from matter planning and financial analysis to project reporting, budget tracking and improving how information is communicated to lawyers and clients.

You'll also gain exposure to the commercial side of legal practice, helping teams prepare proposals for new work, understand matter costs, monitor changes in scope and explore different pricing arrangements.

Technology is another important part of this position. The team is looking at how data, reporting tools and generative AI can improve efficiency and reduce administrative work, so you'll have opportunities to get involved in developing dashboards, improving reporting processes and exploring new ways of working.

We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who enjoy working with numbers, solving problems and understanding how things work. You'll need to be highly organised, confident using Excel and comfortable handling detailed information, but just as importantly, you'll need the confidence to ask questions, challenge existing processes and suggest better ways of doing things.

Experience with Power BI, SQL, Tableau or data analysis would be advantageous, but certainly isn't essential. The firm is much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, analytical ability and willingness to learn.

Whether you've recently graduated in Law, Business, Finance, Economics or another discipline, or you've gained relevant experience in an administrative, analytical or project support position, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, hybrid working with three days per week in the London office and the chance to develop a specialist career within an established international law firm.

For someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking, commercial awareness, technology and working with people, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step in their career.

Legal Project Manager
UK&I - London
Permanent
£51k to £100k

We are working with a leading international law firm that is looking to recruit a Legal Project Manager to support its Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations practice in London.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with lawyers and being directly involved in the management and delivery of complex, high-value legal matters.

Legal Project Management has become an increasingly important part of how international law firms operate, particularly within disputes practices where matters can involve large teams, significant volumes of information, demanding clients and constantly evolving priorities.

Our client is looking for someone who understands these challenges and can bring structure, commercial awareness and practical solutions to the way matters are managed.

Working closely with partners, associates and wider business services teams, you'll become a trusted adviser to the practice, helping lawyers plan, resource and deliver their matters as effectively as possible.

The role goes well beyond simply maintaining project plans and tracking deadlines. You'll be involved in understanding how matters are progressing, identifying potential challenges, managing resources and finding opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising the quality of client service.

You'll work directly with legal teams and, where appropriate, clients, helping to establish clear expectations around timelines, deliverables, budgets and reporting. There will also be a strong focus on resource management, including ensuring that paralegals and junior lawyers are allocated effectively according to the needs and demands of individual matters.

An important part of the position will involve reviewing existing ways of working and identifying where processes could be improved. This might involve introducing more effective project management tools, streamlining workflows, improving reporting or working with colleagues across the business to develop more efficient approaches to matter delivery.

The firm is also continuing to explore how technology and AI can support its lawyers, so there will be opportunities to contribute to innovation initiatives and identify practical ways these tools could improve the delivery of legal services.

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who already have experience managing legal projects within a law firm or professional services environment.

You'll need to be comfortable working with senior lawyers and clients, managing competing priorities and influencing people who may have different approaches to project management. An understanding of the pressures involved in delivering complex litigation or arbitration matters would be particularly valuable.

Experience managing legal resources, including paralegals and junior lawyers, would also be highly relevant, as would a background in project reporting, financial oversight, process improvement and legal technology.

A formal project management qualification would be welcomed, although practical experience and the ability to build relationships across a legal practice will be equally important.

What makes this opportunity especially attractive is the level of involvement you'll have with the practice. This isn't a position sitting on the sidelines of legal matters; you'll be working alongside the lawyers, helping shape how projects are delivered and contributing to the wider development of Legal Project Management within the firm.

You'll also be joining an established, internationally connected business management function, offering the opportunity to work with colleagues across different practice groups and jurisdictions.

For someone who enjoys the operational and commercial side of legal services, and wants to play a meaningful role in improving how complex matters are delivered, this could be an excellent next step.

If you're currently working in Legal Project Management, or have closely related experience within legal operations or matter delivery, we'd be very interested to hear from you.

SC Cleared Lawyers - Public Inquiries
UK&I - London
Contract
£51k to £100k

We're currently working on an interesting opportunity for experienced lawyers to become involved in a significant, high-profile public inquiry project in London.

This is an opportunity to work on something quite different from traditional private practice, supporting an established legal team on a complex and sensitive matter where the work is both challenging and meaningful.

We're particularly interested in speaking with lawyers who have previously worked on public inquiries and understand the demands of managing large volumes of evidence, reviewing complex documentation and contributing to the legal processes that underpin these investigations.

The work will involve a combination of evidence review, legal analysis, disclosure, preparing documentation and supporting the wider legal team as the inquiry progresses. You'll be working alongside experienced lawyers and other stakeholders, so the ability to exercise sound judgement, work collaboratively and manage competing priorities will be important.

Given the nature of the project, we're looking for qualified solicitors or barristers who already hold current SC (Security Check) clearance.

The initial contract is for 12 months, with the possibility of further extensions, making this an attractive opportunity for lawyers who enjoy project-based work but are also looking for some longer-term stability.

The position is based in London and will require office attendance, so candidates will need to be comfortable working on-site.

We'd be particularly keen to hear from lawyers who are available in the near future, whether you're coming to the end of an existing inquiry assignment or simply interested in exploring your next opportunity.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please send across your CV, an indication of your usual daily rate and your availability. We'd welcome the opportunity to tell you more about the project and explore whether it could be a good fit.
