In-house Legal Counsel - Structured Products

Our client, a leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support its structured notes business, with a focus on equity-linked products. The successful candidate will advise on the structuring, documentation, negotiation and execution of complex transactions, while partnering closely with Front Office, Compliance and other key stakeholders.

The role requires strong expertise in Prospectus Regulation, retail structured products and cross-border distribution across European markets. Candidates should have experience advising on MiFID II, PRIIPs and product governance requirements, alongside a proven ability to manage legal and regulatory risks in a commercial environment.

The ideal candidate will have relevant product experience from a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver practical, commercial legal advice while driving process improvements and supporting new business initiatives.

  • Comfortable working across jurisdictions in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Interest in legal technology and AI-enabled tools is advantageous.

We are working with a growing international investment bank who are looking to expand in London by adding another Trade finance lawyer to the legal team.

They are looking for an experienced trade finance lawyer with a minimum of 6 years of experience from a leading in-house institution or a law firm.
