Marketing Manager
A highly regarded London law firm is looking for a Marketing Manager to join its Business Development and Marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. There may be potential for the role to extend beyond the initial contract period.
This is a broad and varied marketing role, working as part of a small, collaborative team and reporting into the Head of Marketing and Business Development. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the firm's marketing and business development strategy, with responsibility across campaigns, digital marketing, content, social media, CRM, events, reporting and stakeholder management.
The firm has a strong reputation in its market, a high-quality client base and a friendly, professional culture. This would be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on marketing role where they can take ownership, build relationships across the firm and contribute to a wide range of projects.
The role will include developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns from planning through to execution, measurement and evaluation. You will work with marketing technology including CRM, email marketing, website and events platforms, and will be involved in copywriting, editing and reviewing content across different channels.
You will also help manage the firm's social media channels, coordinate articles and thought leadership content, oversee legal directory and awards submissions, support online and in-person events, brief external agencies, and provide regular reporting on campaign, social media, website and wider marketing performance.
A key part of the role will involve working closely with partners, associates and internal teams to understand their marketing and business development objectives, advise on the best approach and help deliver strategic marketing and campaign plans through to completion.
The firm is looking for someone with a minimum of around 4 years' experience in a marketing or business development role, ideally gained within a law firm, professional services or financial services environment.
You should have experience managing marketing campaigns from concept to delivery, strong writing, proofreading and editing skills, and good knowledge of digital marketing, social media, CRM, CMS, email marketing tools and marketing analytics. Experience of events, legal directories and awards submissions would also be useful.
The successful candidate will be organised, pragmatic, proactive and confident working with people at all levels. You will need strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a busy professional services environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Manager looking for a 12-month contract with a respected law firm and a genuinely varied marketing and business development remit.
