Marketing Assistant
A London law firm is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join its Marketing and Business Development team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in building experience within legal marketing, business development, events and communications. The firm has a strong reputation in its market, a high-quality client base and a friendly, collaborative culture. The Marketing and Business Development team is growing, and this role has been created to provide additional support across a broad range of day-to-day activity.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Marketing and Business Development and will provide general support to the wider team. The role will be varied and will suit someone who is organised, proactive and keen to learn.
Responsibilities will include assisting with legal directory submissions, reviewing and formatting documents, drafting emails, preparing agendas, taking minutes, supporting events, preparing name badges and promotional materials, assisting with client registration at firm events, maintaining contact lists and supporting data management.
The role will also involve helping with the firm's monthly newsletter, booking meetings, supporting diary management for the team, arranging meeting rooms, researching venues for events, supporting internal events, assisting with social media posts, maintaining internal resources, collating website and event statistics, carrying out competitor research and providing general support to the Head of Marketing and Business Development and the wider team.
This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional services marketing and BD environment. Over time, the successful candidate is likely to take ownership of regular tasks and develop their communication, organisation, IT and administration skills.
The firm is looking for someone with strong organisational skills, good time management and the ability to manage a busy and changing workload. You should have very good written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You will need to be proactive, positive, reliable and comfortable working to deadlines. The role would suit someone at an early stage in their career who is keen to learn and interested in the legal, corporate or professional services world.
This is a lovely opportunity to join a respected London law firm and gain valuable experience within a busy and supportive Marketing and Business Development team.
