This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified corporate lawyer with Private Equity and/or M&A experience to take on a strategic and operational role within a high-performing practice group. You'll work closely with partners and leadership to support the development, performance, and day-to-day management of the PEMA team across London and Paris.

You'll play a key role in driving talent management, staffing, training, and overall practice group effectiveness, ensuring alignment with the firm's broader strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing resource allocation, staffing processes, and productivity across the PEMA practice, ensuring balanced workloads and optimal utilisation
  • Partnering with practice group leaders on hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning, including lateral recruitment and integration
  • Overseeing associate and paralegal evaluation processes, ensuring consistent feedback and development planning
  • Designing and coordinating training programmes, practice group meetings, and skills development initiatives
  • Monitoring morale, mentoring associates, and supporting career development across the group
  • Analysing and presenting data on performance, capacity, and staffing to inform strategic decision-making
  • Supporting business development initiatives, including pitch preparation and client engagement activities
  • Contributing to budget planning, innovation projects, and broader practice management and operational initiatives
