SC Cleared Lawyers - Public Inquiries
We're currently working on an interesting opportunity for experienced lawyers to become involved in a significant, high-profile public inquiry project in London.
This is an opportunity to work on something quite different from traditional private practice, supporting an established legal team on a complex and sensitive matter where the work is both challenging and meaningful.
We're particularly interested in speaking with lawyers who have previously worked on public inquiries and understand the demands of managing large volumes of evidence, reviewing complex documentation and contributing to the legal processes that underpin these investigations.
The work will involve a combination of evidence review, legal analysis, disclosure, preparing documentation and supporting the wider legal team as the inquiry progresses. You'll be working alongside experienced lawyers and other stakeholders, so the ability to exercise sound judgement, work collaboratively and manage competing priorities will be important.
Given the nature of the project, we're looking for qualified solicitors or barristers who already hold current SC (Security Check) clearance.
The initial contract is for 12 months, with the possibility of further extensions, making this an attractive opportunity for lawyers who enjoy project-based work but are also looking for some longer-term stability.
The position is based in London and will require office attendance, so candidates will need to be comfortable working on-site.

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Previous experience in conflicts analysis, research and resolution within a law firm.
- A good understanding of conflicts of interest and the processes involved in new matter intake and clearance.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and communicate potentially complex conflicts issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with lawyers and senior stakeholders.

We are working with a leading international law firm seeking a Business Development Data Administrator to join its London Marketing & Business Development team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and an interest in data management within a professional services environment.
Working as part of an established international Marketing & BD function, you will play an important role in maintaining the accuracy and quality of business development information, supporting reporting requirements and ensuring the firm's internal systems are kept up to date.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Inputting, updating and maintaining information within the firm's Business Development Activities Manager system.
- Ensuring data accuracy and completeness, identifying missing, duplicate or inconsistent records.

Our client is looking for a commercially minded Legal Operations generalist who can work confidently across a broad range of operational responsibilities, supporting the effective delivery of legal services across a complex international organisation.
This is a senior-level assignment requiring someone who can take ownership, work independently and build effective relationships with senior legal and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring broad legal operations experience, with responsibilities likely to include:
- Supporting the development and optimisation of legal operations processes, systems and workflows.
- Working with legal technology and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through digital solutions and automation.
