Business Development Administrator

UK&I - London
Permanent
Up to £50k

We are working with a leading international law firm seeking a Business Development Data Administrator to join its London Marketing & Business Development team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and an interest in data management within a professional services environment.

Working as part of an established international Marketing & BD function, you will play an important role in maintaining the accuracy and quality of business development information, supporting reporting requirements and ensuring the firm's internal systems are kept up to date.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inputting, updating and maintaining information within the firm's Business Development Activities Manager system.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and completeness, identifying missing, duplicate or inconsistent records.
  • Producing regular and bespoke reports for business development colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the CRM team to maintain accurate company and contact information.
  • Coordinating with colleagues to ensure relevant companies and contacts are correctly recorded in the firm's InterAction CRM system.
  • Liaising with lawyers and business services professionals to gather information and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Supporting occasional business development research projects.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Previous administrative, data entry or data management experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing information.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues at different levels.
  • A proactive attitude, good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and working with databases or internal systems.

Experience with CRM systems, particularly InterAction, would be advantageous, although not essential.

Previous experience within a law firm or professional services business would also be beneficial, but we welcome applications from candidates with transferable administrative and data management skills.

This position offers exposure to the Marketing & Business Development function of an established international law firm, working alongside colleagues across different offices and supporting important business development initiatives.
