Senior Corporate M&A Associate - Energy & Infrastructure (3-6 PQE)
A major international law firm is looking to add a 3-6 PQE Associate to its leading London Energy & Infrastructure practice.
The role sits alongside two highly regarded Partners with market-leading reputations across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas, LNG, and large-scale infrastructure M&A across EMEA and Latin America.
The Role
Executing complex cross-border M&A, JVs, farm-ins/farm-outs, and corporate restructurings in the energy and infrastructure space.
Drafting and negotiating core commercial contracts (JOAs, off-take, concession agreements, and corporate deal docs).
Managing multi-jurisdictional due diligence workstreams and mentoring junior associates.
Directly advising IOCs, NOCs, infrastructure funds, and PE sponsors.
Requirements
3-6 years PQE at a top-tier UK, US, or international firm.
Strong corporate M&A experience with a clear background in energy (oil & gas experience strongly preferred).
Solid commercial acumen and comfortable taking a client-facing lead on transaction steps.
Strong academic credentials.
