Infrastructure & Project Finance Counsel | London
A leading specialist financial services business is seeking a Legal Counsel to advise on international infrastructure project finance transactions.
The role will support deal teams throughout the structuring, negotiation and execution of transactions, providing advice on legal risks and helping develop practical solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise on infrastructure and structured finance transactions, including guarantees, amendments and waivers.
- Review and negotiate transaction documentation and external legal advice.
- Work closely with origination, credit and surveillance teams to identify and manage legal and credit risks.
- Participate in transaction and credit committees where required.
- Manage external counsel and provide legal advice to senior management and board-level stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years PQE and strong infrastructure finance experience.
- Excellent technical, drafting and negotiation skills.
- Commercial approach with strong risk awareness and stakeholder management skills.
