A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Practice Manager to support its Private Equity M&A practice. This is a senior, practice-facing role for a qualified lawyer who understands how a high-performing transactional team operates and who is interested in moving into a broader practice management position.
Working closely with practice group leaders, partners, associates and the wider Practice Management team, you will play a central role in the day to day running, development and effectiveness of the group.
The position combines resource management, talent development, performance, training, onboarding, mentoring and wider practice strategy. A significant part of the role will focus on staffing and productivity. You will work with partners to understand matter requirements, assess associate capacity and allocate lawyers to work in a way that balances client needs, productivity, career development and individual preferences.

You will manage associate and paralegal evaluation processes, support interim and ad hoc reviews and work closely with supervising partners to ensure lawyers receive clear, actionable feedback and appropriate development opportunities.
You will build strong relationships with associates and paralegals, developing a detailed understanding of their experience, ambitions, strengths and development needs. You will also act as a trusted point of contact for career development, mentoring and wider team support. Further responsibilities include helping to develop training programmes and practice group meetings, supporting onboarding and integration of new hires, assisting with lateral recruitment and workforce planning, contributing to business development activity and supporting innovation and wider firm initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least three years' experience gained within a top law firm or equivalent in-house environment. Corporate experience is required, ideally with exposure to M&A and/or Private Equity, although the firm is open minded on exact transactional background where the candidate has a strong understanding of how corporate practices operate.
You will need excellent communication and relationship-building skills, strong judgement and the confidence to work closely with senior partners and lawyers across the practice.
The firm is particularly interested in someone who is proactive, commercially minded, organised and genuinely motivated by the people and operational side of legal practice.
Reprographics Coordinator/Office Services Assistant
A leading US law firm is looking to hire a Reprographics Coordinator to join its London Office Services team on an initial six-month fixed-term contract.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining specialist reprographics responsibilities with broader Office Services support. It would suit someone with experience in reprographics, document services, office services or facilities who enjoys working in a busy professional environment and providing a consistently high level of service.
Working closely with the Office Services Manager, Reprographics Coordinator and wider team, you will provide a comprehensive reprographics service to lawyers and business services teams across the London office. This will include printing, scanning and photocopying documents, as well as finishing work including binding, laminating and guillotining.
You will also be responsible for monitoring reprographics supplies, carrying out basic troubleshooting of printers and photocopiers, escalating technical issues where necessary and ensuring that requests are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Alongside the reprographics element of the position, you will support the wider Office Services function. This will include assisting with incoming and outgoing post and couriers, maintaining copy rooms and supplies, supporting meeting room set-up and office moves, liaising with building management and contractors, and helping other support teams where required.
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a reprographics, office services, facilities or document services environment, ideally gained within a law firm, corporate or professional services setting. You will need strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively when dealing with multiple requests and deadlines.
Hands-on experience with modern reprographics equipment is important, alongside practical troubleshooting skills and confidence using Microsoft Office. Above all, you will be a collaborative and flexible team player who takes pride in delivering a high-quality service.
The role is offered on an initial six-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension although this cannot be guaranteed. The core working hours are 11am-7pm, Monday to Friday, and candidates must be comfortable with these hours as well as providing some flexibility to cover holiday and overtime when required.
Resource manager
We are working with a growing legal technology business looking to hire a Resource Manager to support the delivery and development of its global analyst population.
This is a broad operational role sitting at the heart of the business, with responsibility for ensuring analyst resource is effectively deployed across teams in it's various locations.
The successful candidate will help onboard and train new analysts, manage staffing and capacity across multiple locations and external managed service providers, and ensure resource is aligned with changing client and project demands.
You will also support the recruitment of additional business support hires as required and produce meaningful management information around analyst productivity, quality assurance and performance across the global delivery function.
The role would suit someone with experience in resource management, workforce planning, operations or professional services delivery who is comfortable working with data, managing multiple stakeholders and balancing competing resourcing requirements.
Experience within legal, professional services, consultancy, technology or another project-led environment would be particularly relevant.
