Capital Markets - In-house Counsel
We are working with a leading international financial institution who is seeking a Capital Markets Counsel to join its London Legal team.
The role will advise senior stakeholders across the UK and Europe on DCM, ECM, public M&A, corporate finance, banking and regulatory matters, while supporting new products and strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a UK-qualified lawyer with between 2-4 PQE, strong capital markets experience who is looking to do a broader role. Experience at a leading law firm or major financial institution is preferred.

The role will advise across the business on payments and regulatory change, product launches and market expansion, while working with regulators and supporting cross-border projects.
The ideal candidate will have some UK payments regulatory knowledge, excellent commercial judgement and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment. In-house or private practice experience is welcomed, with fintech, payments or financial services experience advantageous.
Prior crypto or blockchain experience could also be interesting and beneficial as the skillsets are very transferable.
