Looking to take the lead on cutting-edge private credit and sponsor-backed debt mandates? A top-tier US firm in London is hiring a 4-6 PQE finance associate to join its expanding leveraged finance group.
The European debt landscape has shifted heavily toward direct lending and hybrid capital solutions. This team sits right at the intersection of sponsor-side leverage and private credit, giving you a broad, highly marketable practice covering everything from senior direct lending to complex unitranche and holdco structures.
The Role
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of primary debt documentation, including senior/unitranche credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, and equity kickers.
- Advise financial sponsors, private credit funds, and alternative lenders on European LBO financings, refinancings, and dividend recapitalisations.
- Manage multi-jurisdictional debt execution, working directly with deal sponsors, credit committees, and corporate borrowers.
- Mentor junior associates on technical documentation while running transactions independently alongside partners.
