Derivatives Lawyer

Senior Legal Counsel - Markets | 6-8 PQE | London | 12-Month Maternity Cover

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join a leading global financial institution on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting its Markets business.

The role will provide legal advice across FX, derivatives and complex financing transactions, including day-to-day support to sales teams, new products and jurisdictions, and counterparty default/close-out matters.

Requirements:
* 6-8 years' PQE or equivalent, gained in private practice and/or in-house
* Working knowledge of FX and derivatives
* Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills
* Strong academic credentials
