Legal Documentation Analyst - Legal Tech / Financial Services

UK&I - London
Contract
Up to £50k

We are working with a fast-growing legal technology business that supports some of the world's leading financial institutions with the digitisation and analysis of complex legal agreements.

They are now looking for Legal Documentation Analysts to join the team on a contract basis. This would suit someone who has moved beyond junior paralegal-level review work and has gained genuine exposure to financial services legal documentation, contract data, remediation or legal technology projects, but who is still happy working in a hands-on analyst capacity.

The role sits at the intersection of law, finance and technology. The work will involve reviewing, analysing and extracting key information from financial services legal agreements, helping to ensure that contract data is accurate, consistent and properly captured within the platform.

You may be working with documents such as ISDAs, CSAs, syndicated loan agreements, trading documentation, onboarding documentation or other financial/legal agreements. Experience with these exact documents would be helpful, but broader experience in contract review, legal documentation, legal operations, document remediation or financial services documentation could also be relevant.

This is not a traditional paralegal role and it is not purely document review. It requires someone who enjoys getting into the detail of contracts, understands the importance of accurate legal data, and can apply judgment while still following structured processes.

You will need to be confident working with complex documentation, spotting inconsistencies, reconciling information and asking sensible questions where something does not look right. Strong attention to detail, good Excel/data skills and a genuine interest in legal technology will be important.

This could suit a paralegal, legal analyst, documentation analyst, contract analyst or legal operations professional who has worked within a law firm, financial institution, legal managed services team, legal tech provider or in-house legal function.

The role is based in the City on a hybrid basis and will initially be offered as a contract, with strong potential for extension and further project work.

Corporate Lawyer - Alternative Career Opportunity
UK&I - London
Permanent
£100k - £150k

Are you an experienced corporate or transactional lawyer who enjoys the legal environment but is beginning to question whether fee earning is the right long-term career path for you?

We are working with an elite international law firm on a genuinely unusual opportunity for an experienced lawyer to move into a senior, practice-facing role focused on the development, performance and effective running of one of the firm's leading transactional teams.

This is not a traditional HR position, nor does it require someone who has previously worked in talent management. The firm is specifically interested in hearing from experienced practising lawyers who can bring legal credibility, commercial judgement and a genuine understanding of the pressures and demands of working within a high-performing transactional practice.

You will be embedded within the practice and work directly with partners, counsel, associates and trainees. Over time, you will build a comprehensive understanding of the team, its people, the nature of the work, current and upcoming matters, individual strengths, development needs and career goals.

A major part of the role will involve working closely with partners on the allocation of lawyers to matters. You will help ensure that teams are appropriately resourced while balancing client needs, workload, utilisation and the longer-term development of individual lawyers.

You will monitor workloads and deal flow, review relevant financial and utilisation data and help identify where additional support or changes in resourcing may be required.

The role also plays a significant part in the professional development of lawyers across the practice. You will be closely involved in performance review processes, development conversations, career planning and identifying training needs. You will work with partners and internal development teams to help create training programmes and other initiatives designed to support lawyers at different stages of their careers.

You will also be involved in lateral and trainee recruitment, onboarding new joiners, supporting lawyers returning from or moving into secondments, helping manage transitions and departures, and contributing to wider projects relating to development, change and the continued success of the practice.

This is an exceptionally relationship-driven role. You will become a trusted point of contact for both partners and lawyers within the team and will need the confidence, judgement and interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at every level.

The firm is looking for someone with a minimum of five years' experience as a practising lawyer. A corporate background would be particularly relevant, although lawyers from other transactional disciplines will also be considered.

You should be commercially minded, highly organised and comfortable working with data and competing priorities. Above all, you should be genuinely interested in people and in understanding how high-performing legal teams operate, develop and succeed.

This opportunity could be particularly well suited to a lawyer who has reached a point in their career where they would like to step away from the traditional fee-earning path while continuing to use the knowledge, credibility and experience they have developed in practice.

You will be joining a highly successful international law firm with an outstanding reputation for complex, high-value and cross-border work. The London office is a significant part of the wider global business and offers a collaborative, high-performing environment with access to some of the most talented lawyers in the market.

The role is permanent and based in London, with hybrid working available.

For a confidential discussion about the opportunity and whether this type of career move could be right for you, please get in touch.

Business Development and Marketing Executive
UK&I - London
Permanent
Up to £50k

We are working with a highly regarded and long-established London law firm that is looking to appoint a Business Development and Marketing Executive to join its growing Business Services team.

This is a particularly exciting time to join. The firm has made a number of recent senior hires across its Business Services functions and is investing in strategic, technology-led and innovation-focused projects across the business.

Working closely with both the Business Development Director and the Marketing and Communications Director, this is a broad role offering exposure across the full business development and marketing mix.

On the business development side, you will support a range of initiatives designed to help drive the firm's continued growth. This will include market and client research, identifying and tracking new business opportunities, supporting targeting initiatives, helping to coordinate client and referrer meetings and events, and developing materials for pitches and proposals.

You will also play an important role in the continued roll-out and development of the firm's new CRM technology, helping to coordinate activity, maintain data quality and support wider initiatives designed to embed a strong business development culture across the firm.

The marketing element of the role will include coordinating the firm's legal directory submissions programme across publications including Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500. This will involve working closely with partners, fee earners and internal teams to gather information, manage deadlines and referee processes, and ensure submissions are delivered to a high standard. The emphasis is primarily on coordination and project management rather than drafting submissions from scratch.

The firm is looking for an ambitious and career-minded individual who is proactive, confident and keen to continue developing their business development and marketing experience.

Previous experience within a law firm or wider professional services environment would be advantageous, although it is not essential where someone can demonstrate strong transferable skills and the right aptitude.

You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders. An interest in technology, CRM systems and the use of AI within professional services would also be welcomed.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join an experienced and innovative Business Services team and gain broad exposure to strategic business development initiatives within a highly successful firm.

The successful candidate will initially work full-time from the office while completing their induction and becoming familiar with the firm, before moving onto the team's working pattern of four days per week in the office
