An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Structured Finance Associate to join a highly regarded global law firm in London.
The team advises leading financial institutions, sponsors, asset managers and corporate clients on a broad range of complex and innovative structured finance transactions. Associates benefit from exposure to market-leading work, significant client contact and a genuinely collaborative environment.
The Role
You will advise on a variety of structured finance matters, including:
- Securitisations and asset-backed financings
- Warehouse financings
- Risk transfer transactions
- Fund finance and NAV facilities
- Derivatives-linked structures
- Private credit and alternative capital solutions
- Cross-border financing transactions
The team works closely with colleagues across banking, derivatives, funds and capital markets, providing associates with broad exposure to sophisticated transactions and high-profile clients.
Candidate Requirements
- England & Wales qualified (or common law qualified with relevant experience)
- NQ-5 years' PQE
- Strong structured finance, securitisation, banking OR derivatives experience from a leading law firm or in-house experience
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong drafting and transactional skills
- Commercially minded with a collaborative approach

A leading Finance practice at a prestigious UK law firm is seeking a Mid-Senior level lawyer for its growing securitisation and structured finance team.
While the role is firmly rooted in securitisation and structured finance, the team is uniquely integrated, offering a broader platform and the opportunity to also gain exposure to high-value fund finance matters.
The team advises corporates, funds, originators, servicers and financial institutions on a broad range of structured transactions across the speciality finance and securitisation markets. Work spans a variety of asset classes, including corporate and SME loans, auto loans, unsecured consumer loans and credit cards.
The practice also advises on a range of structured debt and fund finance matters, including NAV, preferred equity, hybrid and GP/management fee facilities.

The team operates a uniquely integrated model. Rather than being siloed into a single sub-speciality, you will work closely with partners and be given significant license from the outset, gaining broad exposure across strategic equity, securities financing, and transactional hedging.
Advising a premium client base of investment managers, sovereign entities, and tier-one financial institutions, the practice combines high-profile transactional work with bespoke, esoteric structures. This spans strategic equity (including structured margin lending and equity-linked loans), securities financing (including repo and prime brokerage), and complex hedging mechanics for the firm's wider M&A and mega-cap leveraged buyouts.
Applicants must be E&W qualified with experience from a leading derivatives/structured products practice in London.
