Legal PA

UK&I - London
Permanent
Up to £50k

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal PA to join the Intellectual Property, Tech & Data team of a highly regarded international law firm in London.

This is a brilliant role for a proactive, commercially minded PA who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused legal environment. The team is busy, collaborative and ambitious, and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fee earners across a broad mix of administrative, financial, client relationship and matter management responsibilities.

This is not a purely diary-and-travel role. The firm is looking for someone who can take real ownership, build strong relationships with partners and fee earners, anticipate what is needed, and help drive processes forward. You will be trusted to manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings across time zones, arrange international travel, support client onboarding and matter administration, assist with billing and WIP processes, and help with business development activity including pitches, presentations, events, CRM updates and legal directories.

The role will suit someone who is confident dealing with senior stakeholders, comfortable working under pressure, and able to manage competing priorities with calmness and professionalism. You will need strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with lawyers, clients and internal business services teams.

Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment is strongly preferred, together with experience of complex diary and travel management, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and a good understanding of billing, WIP, client onboarding and matter management processes. Experience using systems such as iManage, Aderant or similar would be useful.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a PA who wants to be valued as a true business support professional, rather than simply an administrator. The firm offers a supportive culture, hybrid working, strong benefits, private healthcare, wellbeing initiatives and a genuinely progressive environment where people are encouraged to take ownership of their careers.

£51k to £100k

A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Compliance Analyst into its London team.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with around 1-2 years' experience, or slightly more, who wants to build their career in a well-regarded compliance function with real depth, support and progression. The role is heavily focused on anti-money laundering work, sitting within a busy team responsible for all London compliance matters, with growing volumes of work also feeding in from New York and wider European activity.
You'll be joining an established and experienced team including senior compliance lawyers, counsel and management, with the chance to learn from people who have built their careers internally and moved up through the function. The work will centre on AML and sanctions matters, including client and matter checks, ownership investigations, risk assessments, reverification, ongoing monitoring and drafting clear written analysis for stakeholders across the firm. You'll also support wider new business acceptance and compliance work, and over time there will be scope to gain exposure to conflicts and broader risk matters.
The team is looking for someone coming from a law firm environment, ideally an international or US/international platform, who is confident dealing with different stakeholders and can work carefully, calmly and accurately in a fast-moving setting. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine interest in compliance are all important.
This is a chance to join a growing team at a point where the work is increasing, and the need is real. It would suit someone who wants to deepen their AML expertise in a firm where compliance

Real Estate Paralegal - Residential Conveyancing
UK&I - London
Permanent
Up to £50k

A well-regarded UK law firm is looking to appoint a Real Estate Paralegal to join its busy residential property team in London.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience who enjoys being involved in live matters and wants to build strong, hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of residential property transactions. The vacancy has arisen because the current post holder is starting a training contract, so it would suit someone ambitious, hardworking and keen to develop within a supportive legal environment.

Working closely with a solicitor, you will assist with a range of residential conveyancing files from initial instruction through to post-completion. The role will involve regular liaison with clients and third parties, as well as providing administrative and transactional support throughout the conveyancing process.

Typical duties will include file opening, AML compliance, exchange, completion and post-completion administration, drafting financial statements and invoices, submitting AP1 and SDLT forms, updating internal and external systems, archiving and general matter administration. You will also have client contact under supervision.

Previous conveyancing experience gained in a legal environment is essential. Ideally, you will have a law degree, although strong practical experience will also be important. You should be confident working to deadlines, able to use your initiative, commercially aware and comfortable dealing with clients and colleagues in a professional manner.

This is a full-time role based in London, with some hybrid working potentially available after probation and appropriate training.

For someone looking to continue building a career in residential property, this is a strong opportunity to join a busy and supportive team where you can take on real responsibility and develop your technical skills further.
