Legal Secretary/Administrator - Private Client

We're working with a well-established, boutique law firm in Central London that's looking to recruit a Legal Secretary/Administrator to support their busy and highly regarded Private Client team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with prior legal secretarial experience, ideally within Private Client, to take on a varied and hands-on support role. You'll work closely with a small, collaborative team, providing key administrative and organisational support while maintaining regular client contact. The firm offers a friendly, inclusive environment with a genuine focus on training, development, and long-term progression within support roles.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing correspondence and preparing legal documents
  • Opening, closing, and archiving client files
  • Maintaining and updating internal records and databases
  • Assisting with diary and financial administration
  • Acting as a first point of contact for new enquiries
  • Liaising with clients and coordinating meetings
  • Supporting team coordination, including business development and marketing events

This role would suit someone proactive, organised, and personable, with a strong interest in Private Client work and a commitment to a long-term career in legal support.

The firm offers a welcoming and inclusive culture, with a small team of four and a cooperative, mentoring approach. Limited hybrid working is available after an initial 3 month probation period.

A London law firm is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary / Administrator to join its Private Client team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a friendly, supportive and close knit team where your contribution will be genuinely valued. The team is made up of a partner, solicitor and paralegal, and they are looking for someone who will become an important part of the department and support its continued growth.

The role will suit someone with previous legal secretarial or administrative experience within Private Client who enjoys this area of law and is looking for a long term move in a team focused environment.

The successful candidate will be involved in a broad mix of secretarial and administrative duties, including preparing correspondence and documents, opening and closing files, archiving, updating records and databases, supporting with diary and financial administration, liaising with clients, arranging meetings, and assisting with team meetings and marketing events.

This is a role for someone who is organised, professional and personable, with strong communication skills, a flexible approach and a clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality. Previous experience dealing with clients is important, as is an interest in Private Client work.

This position is primarily a secretarial and administrative role. It is not suitable for recent law graduates, paralegals, or those looking to use the role as a route into qualification. The team is keen to meet candidates who want to build their career within Private Client support.

The role is based in central London and is expected to be mainly office based, with limited hybrid working available after probation.

A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a KYC and Client Due Diligence professional to join its Manchester office on an initial 6 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded firm with a strong global presence and a well established risk and compliance function. The team is looking for support with ongoing client due diligence reviews, helping to manage a busy backlog while maintaining high standards of accuracy, judgement and service.

The work will include ongoing monitoring and screening of existing clients, carrying out research using a range of sources and databases, building client risk profiles, conducting risk assessments and identifying any potential AML issues for escalation where needed. The successful person will also work closely with legal teams, providing support and guidance throughout the review process and assisting with wider tasks linked to the firm's ongoing monitoring programme.

The role would suit someone with previous experience in KYC, AML, client due diligence or ongoing monitoring, ideally gained within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong research skills, a careful approach and the ability to manage work efficiently in a fast paced setting will all be important.

This is a full-time role, and the firm would ideally like someone to be in the Manchester office 4 days per week. The contract is expected to start in early to mid-May and will run for an initial 6 months.
