Legal Counsel - Loan-Linked Hedging (12 month FTC)

We're partnering with a leading international financial institution seeking an experienced banking and derivatives lawyer to join its Legal team in London.

This role offers exposure to complex finance-linked hedging transactions across project finance, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, mid-market lending, and securitisation.

Key Focus Areas:

• Advising on loan-linked and structured hedging transactions and related finance documentation.
• Drafting, negotiating, and managing ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, CSA, and inter-affiliate agreements.
• Supporting new product initiatives, regulatory programmes, and governance frameworks.
• Engaging with stakeholders across banking and securities divisions to manage legal risk.

Ideal Profile:

• Strong technical grounding in derivatives and finance-linked hedging.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate complex issues clearly.
• Collaborative, commercial, and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Additional European language skills (French, German or Spanish) are advantageous but not essential.
